There are three main airports in Croatia: Zagreb International Airport Pleso, Split and Dubrovnik. The flight time is just over one hour from London. Zagreb International Airport is about 15 km from the city centre and there are regular bus lines to the center. Alternatively, a taxi from the Zagreb airport to the city center will cost approximately 250 kuna.

You can easily travel to Croatia by train. One possible route is to catch the Eurostar from London Waterloo to Paris Gare du Nord, then connect from Paris with one of the two daily departures to Zagreb. The overall journey will take around 30 hours. See SNCF for connections from Paris. Alternatively, you can go via Zurich.

There are many options to arrive by bus or car, but we highly recommend traveling by plane or train. However, if you are feeling adventurous and decide to drive to Croatia, you can drive all the way to your final destination, or drive to an Italian port and than take a car ferry across. If you’re driving from Western Europe, the best route would be through Germany.
